What is involved in Bujinkan training?

- Stretching and body conditioning
- Receiving skills such as rolling, breakfalls and footwork
- Striking using all parts of the body: feet, knees, elbows, fists etc.
- Grappling skills such as throwing, locking, takedowns and restraining
- Weapons: rigid (sticks and staffs); flexible (ropes and chains); projectiles; bladed (knives and swords) and hidden
- Self-defence strategies and soft-skills such as awareness, tactics, distraction and psychology
The atmosphere is one of shared learning, following a progressive syllabus.
