Alex Martinez is ranked at "kyudan shidoshi" (senior instructor) in the martial art of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu and is a student of the Bujinkan Meehan Dojo under Mr. Alex Meehan "judan shidoshi" (www.happobiken.com).
He passed his Shidoshi test in Japan on January 12th 2006 under the Bujinkan grandmaster, Soke Hatsumi and opened the Jiyu dojo in March 2008 in Dublin. He then moved to Co. Kerry where the dojo has been operating since November 2009.
He first began training with the Bujinkan in 1989 and has trained continuously since. He has also made multiple trips to Japan to train with master teachers there.
